Support

1. Contact support

Email tash@neu.ie. Use a short subject such as “Connection problem,” “Privacy request,” “Accessibility,” or “Report an AI response.”

For a technical issue, include:

Never send your private preview token, an OpenAI or other model API key, password, payment-card details, or full private documents. Redact names and conversation content that are not necessary. Support does not need remote control of your device to receive a report.

Support is handled during the private preview without a guaranteed response time or 24-hour monitoring. For a privacy request, the response periods required by applicable law still apply. This is not an emergency service; contact local emergency services if someone is in immediate danger.

2. Get started

The app is an invitation-only preview for adults aged 18 and over, starting with Android. Public app-store downloads and public sign-up are not available yet. Use only the installation instructions and build supplied with your invitation.

Try Demo

In Settings → Model connection, select Demo and tap Save. Demo uses sample responses without sending your conversation to OpenAI for live AI responses. Demo call playback uses your device’s speech service, whose settings determine its own processing; speech playback is not a guarantee of fully offline operation. You can explore agent creation, memory controls, and the interface.

Connect the hosted service

  1. Open Settings and select Live AI.
  2. Tap Use My Voice Agents server. The server URL should be https://api.myvoiceagents.app.
  3. Enter the separate private preview token provided with your access. This is an app connection token, not an OpenAI API key.
  4. Tap Save, read the OpenAI data-sharing disclosure, and choose Agree and connect if you want to proceed.

The server shortcut and mode selector change the form until you save. Test connection checks whether a server is reachable; it does not save the form or prove that a token is authorized for model requests. If you prefer not to share information with OpenAI, cancel and continue in Demo.

Use a custom server only if you trust its operator. That server receives the requests and connection token you send to it and may use different providers or retention practices.

3. Connection problems

“Could not connect,” a timeout, or a network error

Check your internet connection and the saved server URL. For the hosted service, use the exact HTTPS address above without an extra path. Try again after a short pause. If it continues, send the error and time to support. Do not reset the app as a first troubleshooting step; a reset removes your local workspace.

The connection test works, but messages are rejected

The health check is public, while model requests need an authorized token and the Live AI sharing permission. Confirm that you saved Live AI and the correct private preview token. A revoked or incorrect token can fail even when the server is reachable. Ask support to check your access; do not include the token in your email.

The server is reachable, but live AI is not enabled

The server may be running in Demo or its model connection may be unavailable. Confirm that you selected the intended server. Hosted-service configuration is handled by us; you should not enter a model API key in the mobile app.

A usage-limit or “too many requests” message

Allow pending requests to finish and wait before retrying. Private preview access is limited. A local plan label or minute counter does not guarantee hosted access or unlimited usage. Send persistent errors to support rather than repeatedly starting calls.

The website does not load

Open myvoiceagents.app directly. The www address redirects to the same site. Check your internet connection and try another browser or network. Include the hostname and exact browser error when reporting a persistent problem.

4. Create and edit agents

Use the create-agent action from the home screen. Give your agent a name, a short description, and instructions for how it should help. Choose a nature pattern and colors, select a voice, and optionally add a first memory or files. Finish with Create agent.

To make changes later, open the agent’s details and choose Personality & appearance. Save your changes. Existing live calls keep the context they started with, so end and start a new call to use updated instructions, voice, files, or memory settings.

Useful instructions describe a clear purpose, tone, and boundaries—for example, “Help me plan my week. Ask one question at a time and keep suggestions practical.” The preview offers preset AI voices; it does not provide a tool for cloning a real person’s voice.

5. Calls and chat

Open an agent and choose Call or Message. Live calls need internet access, authorized preview access, agreement to the OpenAI disclosure, and microphone permission. Text chat remains available without microphone permission.

If the agent cannot hear you, check mute and the app’s microphone permission in device settings. If you cannot hear it, check volume and the selected audio output. End and restart a stalled call after checking connectivity; if it persists, report the time and error.

To stop future live sharing, select Demo in Settings and Save. This also ends an active call without requesting new memory suggestions. Simply highlighting Demo without saving does not apply the change.

6. Memory and transcripts

Open the agent’s Memory page to add a fact, edit an entry, remove one, or turn Use memory off. Calls and messages use that agent’s saved memories. Suggested memories are not saved until you approve them.

If an agent “forgets” something, check that the memory was saved and that Use memory is on. Long conversations and large file collections are not supplied in full on every request. AI responses can still miss or misinterpret context.

Removing a memory keeps that entry out of future requests, but the same information may remain in the conversation, instructions, files, recovery snapshots, or an active call. Turning memory off does not erase those other copies. Start a new call after changing what it may use.

Settings → Save call transcripts controls whether text from the call is saved in your local chat, including spoken transcripts, messages you type during the call, and the agent’s replies. When this setting is off, those call messages are not added to persistent history; messages already saved remain. Turning it off does not disable the provider’s audio processing or live transcription. If memory remains enabled, temporary call text may still be processed after the call to propose memories. A call-ended entry and duration may remain. Read the Privacy Policy for the full distinction.

Transcripts and memory suggestions can contain errors. Review them before saving, sharing, or relying on them.

7. Files and images

Open Files & context from the agent’s details, then choose Add files or Add images. File copies are stored on your device. In Live AI, selected file contents are sent to the configured server and model provider.

If a file fails, check its format and size, remove unnecessary large attachments, and try a smaller copy. Export unsupported document or image formats to one of the formats listed above. Password-protected, damaged, or complex PDFs may not produce useful results. PDF or image interpretation, including summaries used for calls, can omit details.

Tap a file to preview it or choose Open or share file where available. Use its remove control to stop including it in new requests. End an existing call first if you want its previous context to stop being used. Adding a file to the agent does not change a call that has already started.

8. Sharing and exports

From the agent’s details, choose Share agent. You can share an app link, export an agent file, or export an HTML website preview. App links require My Voice Agents to be installed; agent files can be imported from the home screen.

An agent definition includes its name, description, instructions, voice, and appearance. It omits your saved memories, conversation history, and attached files. Review the definition because personal details written into its instructions or description will still be shared.

Use Export conversation in agent details to share or save conversation text. Use Open or share file to send an individual attachment. These actions disclose the selected content to the application or recipient you choose.

The exported HTML page is a standalone interactive preview. It does not automatically publish a website or create a live AI endpoint. Support cannot erase exports or copies retained by other people or applications.

9. Your data and deletion

The current preview does not have cloud accounts, cross-device workspace sync, or a company-operated cloud backup of your chats. Keep your own copies of anything you need. A store purchase restore, if later available, is different from restoring a local conversation.

Deleting an item can leave text in a previous recovery snapshot until a later save overwrites it or a full reset removes the snapshots. Reset does not erase exported copies, device backups, another app’s files, or information already processed by providers. Temporary picker/export files may remain in device cache. If the app reports a storage or reset failure, keep the error and contact support.

Privacy requests

Email tash@neu.ie with the type of request, enough context to locate information we may hold, and the region whose rights you wish to exercise. For a past request, an approximate time and server hostname may help; do not send your access token. We may ask for proportionate verification or proof of an authorized agent’s authority.

We do not have remote access to your device’s workspace, so local content may need to be exported or removed using the app’s controls. We will explain any limitations or applicable exceptions. The Privacy Policy describes rights, response procedures, and appeals where applicable. You may also contact a competent privacy regulator.

10. Plans and payments

The current private preview does not sell subscriptions or charge your payment method. Plus, Pro, top-up screens, and minute counters illustrate the intended experience. Preview choices do not create a real purchased subscription, cash balance, or guaranteed future credits.

Preview Restore does not contact an app store when billing is unconfigured. A local plan label does not prove a purchase or guarantee live access. If you believe you were charged, check the merchant and receipt in the relevant store, then contact support with the order reference and date. Do not send card numbers or login credentials.

If store purchases become available in a later version, its offer and store confirmation will disclose the actual price, billing period, renewal, cancellation, and usage limits before purchase. Deleting the app or resetting a workspace does not cancel a store subscription. These official guides explain store cancellation: Google Play and Apple. Those instructions do not mean subscriptions are currently available in this preview.

11. Safety and security reports

Unsafe, offensive, or incorrect AI output

Stop relying on the response and email support with the approximate time, agent name, and a short explanation. Include only the minimum relevant excerpt, with unrelated personal information removed. AI replies are not verified professional advice, and support is not an emergency or crisis-response service.

Privacy, impersonation, or intellectual-property concerns

Describe the content or shared agent, how to locate it, the right or issue involved, and how we can contact you. If you act for someone else, explain your authority. Do not send illegal imagery, intimate material, or complete confidential records just to demonstrate a report.

Exposed access or a security vulnerability

Email tash@neu.ie with a high-level description and safe reproduction steps. If a token was exposed, stop using it and ask us to replace or revoke the affected access; do not paste it into the report. Switching to Demo stops your device’s live requests but does not revoke a token someone else already has.

Do not access other people’s information, disrupt the service, or publish an active credential while investigating. This page does not authorize security testing or promise a bounty.

12. Accessibility and other help

If a screen, control, or document is difficult to use, tell us the device, relevant accessibility setting or assistive technology, and the task you could not complete. You can request an accessible explanation or help with a privacy request using the same contact address.

Website and app versions may differ during the preview. These instructions describe the current build; the Terms of Use and Privacy Policy explain its service and data-handling boundaries.
