Your data, your call
Delete your account and data
Updated · iPhone and Android
My Voice Agents has no user accounts. There is no sign-up, email or password. Each installation of the app gets its own server credential, and your agents, chats, memories and files live on your device.
Deleting your data takes up to three steps: reset or uninstall the app to remove what is on your device, cancel Pro in the store if you subscribed, and email tash@neu.ie to ask us to delete the records our server keeps. My Voice Agents is operated by Neu Software LLC.
1. Delete the data on your device
Everything you create in the app is stored on your phone, so you remove it from there. Export anything you want to keep first.
- Reset the app: open Settings → Reset this device and confirm Reset everything. This removes all local agents, memories, chats and imported files.
- Uninstall: deleting the app removes its local data from your phone. On iPhone, the installation credential kept in the Keychain may survive reinstalling.
Resetting or uninstalling does not erase exported copies, device backups, or information already processed by providers. Your installation credential and server usage records remain until you ask us to delete them (step 3). The Support guide explains how to remove single memories, files or agents.
2. Cancel Pro
Deleting the app or your data does not cancel a subscription. Pro is billed by Apple or Google, so cancel it in the store before you delete anything:
- Android: open Google Play, tap your profile icon, then Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions, and choose My Voice Agents. See Google Play's cancellation guide.
- iPhone: open Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions, and choose My Voice Agents. See Apple's guide to cancelling a subscription.
After you cancel, Pro stays active until the end of the period you have paid for. Refunds follow the store's policies; see Plans and subscriptions.
3. Delete the records we hold
Our server keeps no copy of your agents, chats, memories or files. It keeps a hash of your installation credential, usage counters and, if you subscribed, verified subscription records. These do not yet expire automatically, so ask us to delete them:
- Email tash@neu.ie with the subject “Deletion request”.
- Say which store you use (Google Play or the App Store), your device model and roughly when you installed or last used the app. The app does not show an installation ID, so these details help us find your records.
- If you subscribed, include the order number from your store receipt (Google Play order numbers start with “GPA.”). It helps us find your subscription record.
Never send your installation credential, a password or payment-card details. We may ask for proportionate verification before deleting anything, and we will reply within the period required by applicable law. We will confirm what we deleted and explain anything we have to keep.
4. What we delete and what we keep
Deleted on request
- Your installation registration record, including the hash of its credential and the daily network hash stored with it.
- Usage counters for voice minutes, chat messages and files.
- Verified subscription records, including encrypted purchase tokens, once they are no longer needed for the reasons below.
Kept, and for how long
- Records needed for an active subscription, to prevent duplicate allowances, to handle refunds or disputes, or to meet legal obligations may be kept for as long as that need lasts, and only for that purpose.
- Routine server logs contain request identifiers, route names, status and timing, not your content. API web-server logs rotate daily, keeping 14 rotated files plus the active log; container logs rotate across three files of up to 10 MB each. Older entries age out as the logs rotate.
- Your deletion request and our reply are kept for as long as reasonably needed to resolve the request, document our response and meet applicable legal obligations.
Section 10 of the Privacy Policy describes retention in full, and section 14 describes your privacy rights, verification and appeals.
5. Apple, Google and OpenAI
Apple and Google keep their own purchase and billing records under their privacy policies; manage those through your Apple Account or Google account. Content you sent in chats and calls was processed by OpenAI to generate replies, and OpenAI's retention is described in section 8 of the Privacy Policy. Deleting local data does not automatically send a deletion request to these providers. Tell us if your request involves them and we will explain what we can do.
